Meet the owner
Michelle Appling founded Midway Stays after more than eight years in the senior housing market, where she supported families through major life transitions like downsizing and relocation. Her experience taught her just how important it is to have a space that feels stable, welcoming, and move-in ready—especially during times of change.
She brings a calm, hands-on approach and a trusted network of professionals, including estate planners, stagers, and contractors, to make every stay seamless. Whether you’re moving suddenly or planning ahead, Michelle is known for her attention to detail and compassionate service.
Based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, she’s built a reputation for reliability and warmth. Midway Stays reflects her belief that even a temporary home should feel like the right place to land.
